FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND, WE DETAIL IN OUR WORK CONTRACT ALL ASPECTS OF THE PROJECT. SO THAT CLIENTS FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT TO EXPECT, BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF WORK.

Keeping the work site clean

We make every effort to run a very clean work site and minimise dust:

• We put up zip-up doors and dust sheets during work

• We keep internal doors closed

• We can provide an air purifier, if clients have chronic health conditions. (If required)

• We can build temporary, false internal walls to keep your house livable and warm while construction is ongoing (if required)

• We clean up work related dust throughout the entire process and leave your space as clean as possible

• We either arrange for a skip on site, or bagged removal of inevitable construction waste and we never leave you to deal with this

• Most importantly, we genuinely understand how to care for and repair old buildings and this is reflected in our work ethos

Children and pets

• We are more than happy to work around small children, including babies and are delighted to work around all pets

• We understand that animals can be frightened by loud noises, or nervous of strangers

• We take care to ensure the safety of your children from tools and machinery and understand that children can be curious

Your belongings

• We are able to move your furniture if required and we are cautious and careful around your valuable antiques and art

• We may request that you remove any item from the work site before commencement, that you are particularly concerned about

• We are careful to take care about protecting your carpets and soft furnishings

• We lay impact protection over tiles, wooden floors and important historic surfaces

Your garden and plants

• We make every effort to conserve plants. We never cut down roses or other plants on the exterior unless absolutely neccessary and then only with clear permission after a discussion with you

• We would never treat your garden as a dump for our waste materials and we recognise it is an extension of you

• We take care around hard surfaces to avoid staining or damage

• We understand that you may want to be able to use your garden as normal during work and try our upmost to accommodate this

• We understand that debris needs to be removed from your flower beds and inevitable compacted earth loosened after working

W0rking Harmoniously with our clients

• We make every effort, not to disturb you and to work around your every day life

• We understand that many people work from home and so we are happy to work around meetings and conference calls

• We take care to maintain clients privacy, as such, we can arrange for on site facilities like a portable loo when required or requested

• We never disturb the peace with the constant blare of a radio and are mindful of clients sensibilities in regard to music choice or content
